From the Amazon Rainforest to Your Coffee Cup

At Coffee 4 Missions, our support for Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) goes far beyond writing a check. It’s personal. We lived it. This isn’t just a cause we believe in—it’s a calling we experienced firsthand.
For 15 years, we served with MAF in the Amazon basin of Ecuador—flying, serving, teaching, and sharing the Gospel in some of the most remote places on earth. I (Sandy) flew countless hours over dense rainforest, landing on narrow jungle airstrips to bring aid, hope, and the love of Christ to isolated villages. Trish filled many roles—teacher, mom, hospitality coordinator—all centered around serving others in the name of Jesus.
This ministry shaped our lives, deepened our faith, and ignited a passion to keep supporting those still on the front lines. It’s not just part of our past—it’s at the heart of why we started Coffee 4 Missions.
Flying for the Glory of God

Sandy, the founder of Coffee 4 Missions, served as a missionary pilot with MAF based in Shell, Ecuador. Flying over the dense Amazon jungle, he transported pastors, missionaries, emergency medical patients, and supplies into remote jungle villages—places unreachable by road.
Meanwhile, Trish juggled multiple roles: homeschooling, teaching English in a local school, and managing hospitality at the MAF base. She welcomed short-term teams, organized housing, and supported missionaries visiting the region.
We were especially blessed by our time with the Waorani people, dear friends like Peka and Kawena, who welcomed us into their communities and hearts. These aren’t just stories—they’re our memories and the foundation of this business.
MAF Today — And Why We Still Give

Though we are no longer officially on staff with MAF, our hearts have never left the mission field. MAF continues to serve in over 30 countries today, bringing Christ-centered aviation and technology solutions to isolated people in need.
That’s why a portion of every coffee sale from Coffee 4 Missions goes directly to support MAF missionaries. Currently, we help fund a missionary family serving in a closed country—a location where open evangelism isn’t allowed, but the love of Christ still finds a way through aviation support and relational ministry.
Your Coffee Choice Matters
When you purchase coffee from Coffee 4 Missions, you’re not just getting highest quality, low acid, specialty grade coffee roasted by a family-owned business—you’re joining the mission.
Every sip helps fund gospel work in hard-to-reach places that the MAF planes make possible. It fuels flights into the jungle, supports missionary families, and helps the Kingdom of God advance to the ends of the earth.
Since 1948 MAF’s work has never ceased and continues to expand because of businesses like Coffee 4 Missions and solid believers like yourself who invest intentionally by purchasing products that give back to ministry like Coffee 4 Missions.
Great Coffee Supporting the Great Commission.
That’s more than a slogan—it’s the reason we started Coffee 4 Missions.
